5 Nights from Esna to Aswan
Day 1 – Embarking from Esna
On a calm morning scented with the southern breeze, our guests arrive in the charming city of Esna, where the elegant Nour El-Din Dahabiya awaits on the banks of the Nile, ready to begin an unforgettable journey.
We begin with a visit to the majestic Temple of Esna, where ancient carvings whisper tales of pharaohs and glory.
Back on board, a freshly prepared lunch awaits as we sail along the timeless waters of the Nile.
We spend our first night in El Hegz, surrounded by silence, serenity, and untouched natural beauty.
Day 2 – From El-Kab to Fawaza Island
The day begins with a delicious breakfast accompanied by the gentle melodies of the flowing river.
We visit the Tombs of El-Kab, resting place of nobles from the 17th and 18th Dynasties, set amidst a breathtaking desert landscape.
We then sail south to Edfu, where the mighty Temple of Horus still stands, untouched by time.
After an inspiring tour through its towering columns, we return to the dahabiya for a grilled dinner under the stars, and anchor for the night at the peaceful Fawaza Island.
Day 3 – From Bassaw Island to Gebel el-Silsila
Following breakfast, we arrive at Bassaw Island, where we enjoy a tranquil riverside stroll and heartwarming encounters with local villagers — offering a truly authentic cultural experience.
Later, we continue to the enchanting site of Gebel el-Silsila, where we spend the night surrounded by ancient sandstone cliffs and immersed in the whispers of history.
Day 4 – From Silsila to Maniha Island
At sunrise, we explore the historic quarries of Silsila, where massive stones were once cut to build Egypt’s great temples.
After our visit, we sail toward the Nubian village of Faris, where we stroll its quiet lanes and soak in the charm of rural life.
We anchor for the night at Maniha Island, where the sounds of nature and the glow of the moon combine for an enchanting evening.
Day 5 – From Kom Ombo to Herdiab Beach
Our journey continues to the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double sanctuary dedicated to Horus and Sobek, the crocodile god.
We then sail to the pristine Herdiab Beach, where guests can take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Nile — an unforgettable moment of serenity.
As the sun sets, we make our way toward our final destination: Aswan.
Day 6 – Farewell in Aswan
On our final morning, we enjoy a farewell breakfast aboard Nour El-Din, bidding goodbye to a journey filled with timeless memories and ancient wonders that will forever remain in your heart.
